Cold Swim

With a temperature of 6°F yesterday morning, I stopped by the river to see if there was any ice or steam phenomena. After waiting around for awhile, three deer emerged from the brush and casually waded across like it was nothing.









Later at sunset...








In other news, Ava asked me to draw a picture for her.

I can't believe that about the deer crossing..we had 5 pt buck crash through the ice here...they rescued him, but sadly, he didn't make it
