Dewitt County Morning

I don't surrender to Autumn until the calendar reads October so to welcome this bittersweet month (love the weather/hate my birthday), I took a ride out to Weldon Springs. Afterward, rather than head back to town on US51 and have to drive through construction, I took the back roads home. Doing so proved wise for I stumbled upon an old abandoned 1956 Packard Clipper Sedan that is apparently a rare find though I did not know it at the time. Thank goodness for social networking and helping me to identify this vehicle.
