Delaware I

Despite the lapse since last post, it has been a continued busy and productive past few months as we continue along our new life path. Earlier in August we were finally able to make an overdue trip to my Pennsylvania hometown so to visit family as well as pay numerous respects. Though somewhat of a somber journey and especially for lacking a very important passenger, the time was well spent and a positive experience overall. Among the highlights was the opportunity of introducing Ava to the Delaware coastline including Lewes, Cape Henlopen and Rehoboth beaches. We were only there for two days but in that limited time I was incredibly fortunate to get some truly once in a lifetime shots. Did not realize how much I've missed the ocean and am extremely grateful for what it allowed me to take home.

August 3rd - Daybreak, low tide.

Cape May/Lewes Ferry port at right.

Nearby Cape Henlopen State Park Beach.

Had my camera set up to shoot whatever happened in or over the ocean.

Osprey with lunch!

So happy you made the journey. Didn't realize you were from the east. Love the shot of Ava in the waves and the other photos as well. Loved the lighthouse. How are you doing
