Post Lakeside Art and Music Festival

For every event there comes a year where dues must be paid to the rain gods. The Lakeside Art and Music Festival is no exception and 2009 was our turn to ante up. In spite of everyone's determination, Saturday was an epic washout that can be best described as a tropical monsoon. It was a semi-positive learning experience in that we discovered that our old tent has a major leaking problem. Apparently EZ-UP tents are notorious for canopies that drip. We ended up calling it quits early on Saturday but returned Sunday for a second chance at redemption. Grey morning skies became partly cloudy by mid afternoon and conditions were quite ideal.
